A vehicle Y-splitter should be specified around both receiving devices and their shared source. This cigarette-lighter extension has one male supply connection, two female sockets, copper/PVC construction and a 10A fuse, with 1m, 1.8m or 3m choices.
Define the two receiving branches
Compare the actual male and female socket forms with the vehicle source and receiving devices. Specify the required polarity and branch arrangement for the ordered assembly.
One-core or two-core configuration requests should accompany a detailed cable drawing. Confirm how the selected conductor arrangement serves both receiving connections before matching the splitter to the installation.
Match source voltage and complete current
Specify the required 12V or 24V version against the actual vehicle supply. Include the voltage and electrical demand of both receiving devices in that requirement.
The 10A figure describes the fuse. Confirm the permissible complete assembly current for the selected cable and connections, considering the combined demand at the two sockets.
Select the wire and reach together
One-core wire-area requests include 0.5mm², 0.75mm² and 1.0mm². Agree the applicable conductor build with the actual core and branch arrangement.
Choose 1m, 1.8m or 3m according to the route from the supply to both devices. State the required length definition and connection positions so the physical splitter layout is clear.
The vehicle inquiry should identify source, socket forms, polarity, both device loads and the selected wire layout. These details keep the fuse requirement and cable route attached to the complete two-device connection rather than treating either branch as a separate incoming supply.
