This DC extension request features 12 V and 5.5×2.5 mm male-to-female barrel connections with copper conductors and a PVC jacket. The unshielded, unswitched construction has two-contact and two-terminal requirements, with the actual supplied cable and termination arrangement to be selected.
Identify the connection and contact roles
Define the male plug and female receiving interface at the actual source and device mates. End requirements include 5.5×2.5 mm, 5.5×2.1 mm and 3.5×1.35 mm, so specify the outer and inner dimensions of both supplied ends.
Agree polarity, conductor pinout and the actual two-contact/terminal arrangement. Clarify how the two signal-line and surface-mount/termination requirements apply to the selected connection, keeping those roles distinct from the physical cable construction.
