TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
BBTRZ five-core cable brings together copper conductors, mineral insulation and an LSOH sheath for building power. The construction is flexible and fire resistant, with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV. The five-core arrangement can be compared directly with the building conductor schedule.
Allocate all five conductors
Assign each conductor's duty and required section from the circuit drawing. Five cores identify the arrangement but do not define the function of any individual conductor. Retain the allocation with the equipment connections and cable schedule.
Keep the LSOH layer explicit
LSOH describes the sheath around the specified cable construction. Mineral identifies the insulation and copper identifies the conductors. Keep these material roles separate when comparing alternative building power cables or completing the approved drawing.
Coordinate the flexible installation
Confirm permitted bending and handling details for the selected build. Review the route with cable-end preparation, terminations and the space available at the connections. This keeps the installation layout connected to the actual cable configuration.
Identify the required fire and sheath criteria
State any numbered IEC, fire, smoke or halogen requirement in the project specification. Check its exact conditions for the selected construction and supporting evidence. The ordinary fire-resistant and LSOH descriptions should remain within the scope of that final cable build.
Complete the physical order
The current technical option pairs 50mm2 with five cores. Confirm the individual conductor sections and physical cable length separately, then add the approved allocation and cable-end details. Retain the agreed copper, mineral insulation and LSOH sheath requirements in the order description.
