TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
The two-core NG-A product is a flexible mineral-insulated copper cable for fire-protection applications. It has a 0.6/1kV rating and fire-resistant construction. The two-core identity should be completed with the individual conductor duties, selected sheath and connection requirements of the intended fire-protection circuit.
Identify two definite electrical duties on the connection drawing
Specify the required section, function and equipment connection of each conductor. Two cores establish the arrangement but do not assign those duties. Retain the allocation beside the termination design so the circuit schedule describes one clear electrical configuration for reviewing the selected cable build.
Agree the sheath and its cable-end requirements
Copper is the conductor material and mineral is the insulation material. Add the sheath selected for the final construction and carry that description into the approved drawing. Use the actual build to review preparation and compatible terminations rather than treating the NG-A designation as a complete material specification.
Review the flexible installation with the required fire-performance scope
Use bending and handling details applicable to the chosen construction when considering the route and connection space. If a particular fire-test method, survival duration or acceptance condition is required, identify it explicitly. Review the selected cable evidence for the intended duty and relevant installation conditions without expanding ordinary fire resistance into an unstated universal approval.
Complete the two-core order from the circuit requirements
Confirm individual conductor sections for the selection identified as 50mm2 and state physical cut length independently. Retain the selected sheath, approved allocation and cable-end details with the order description. Keep the circuit and construction drawings and any exact project criterion with the final schedule so the required configuration, installation and physical quantities can be checked together.
