An OEM computer lead should retain the actual angled-plug arrangement with the equipment it serves. This US NEMA 5-15P-to-C13 cord has featured 18AWG SJT bare-copper/PVC construction, a 1.22m (4ft) reach and a 10A, 125V designation.
Define the OEM connection geometry
Identify the plug dimensions, cable direction and available space needed by the computer, desktop PC, monitor or printer. Keep the right-angle-plug configuration with the actual equipment position.
Compare the C13 receiving form and NEMA 5-15P supply form with the installation. Both mates should belong to the physical arrangement described by the OEM brief.
Retain the selected electrical build
Keep the featured 18AWG SJT wire with bare copper and PVC material. Match the 10A, 125V designation to the actual source and receiving-equipment demand.
For an OEM connection requiring another wire version, agree the 16AWG or 14AWG construction with the actual equipment demand. Keep the selected gauge, connector forms and cable route attached to one complete ordered assembly.
Set the route and requested finish
Specify 1.22m/4ft for the featured equipment path or agree a custom dimension. Include both connector bodies and the angled-plug space when measuring the actual route.
White, black or grey finish requests should remain with the selected wire and reach. Keep the actual requested finish attached to the same OEM equipment requirement.
A clear computer brief identifies the actual mates, angled geometry, wire construction, finish, route and load. These details define the requested lead around the particular receiving installation and retain its full physical and electrical specification as one selected assembly.
