This surge-protective-device request is intended for roadway lighting and LED-lamp AC connections. Series or parallel connection requirements accompany distinct operating-voltage, load-current and surge-rating definitions, with the actual protection mode and applicable device support to be agreed for the lighting system.

Separate normal supply and load requirements

The nominal operating requirement is Un 100–277 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with a 5 A load requirement. Keep those conditions separate from Uc 320 V AC when defining the selected device and its actual lighting connection.

Agree the receiving system and complete load with the supplied SPD arrangement. The normal supply, continuous-operating scope and connected load should have clear definitions in the same specification.

Retain each surge-rating definition

Discharge requirements distinguish In 5 kA from Imax 10 kA, alongside Uoc 10 kV and Up 1.2 kV. Obtain applicable support for those selected-device surge and protection-level conditions rather than treating current and voltage test values as interchangeable operating limits.

Identify the actual protection mode and circuit connection with the intended lighting system. Those details should accompany the distinct discharge, open-circuit-voltage and protection-level requirements.

Agree connection and operating scope

Select the required series or parallel arrangement and define its actual wiring scope with the receiving equipment. Include the required -40 to 85°C conditions with applicable support for the selected device and installation.

Complete the lighting-SPD brief with normal supply, load, continuous-operating voltage, surge definitions and actual connection mode. This keeps the selected protection request tied to one defined device and lighting-system arrangement.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
