Alligator clips and a DC SAE interface define this red-and-black battery power lead. Copper conductors with PVC insulation and jacket provide the stated material combination, with cable-gauge, reach and fuse requests available for the intended car or marine battery-equipment connection.
Specify the battery connection at both ends
Identify the battery-side clip arrangement and the exact SAE mating form required by the receiving equipment. Include circuit voltage and polarity in the inquiry, so the selected lead can be assessed against one clearly defined battery-accessory connection.

Choose the lead reach and fuse
Length requests span 1–5 m and should follow the actual route between the battery and receiving equipment. Fuse requests cover 1–10 A; agree the selected fuse with the cable build, connected load and complete assembly rating. Keep those choices together when defining the required extension.
Establish the required battery duty
The lead carries a 12 A designation, which is a current reference rather than a circuit-voltage specification. Provide the intended load and operating duty with the voltage and polarity requirement. An engine-starting request needs an applicable starting-load and assembly specification; the jumper-cable name alone is insufficient for that decision. OEM requests are accepted, allowing the required cable build and reach to be included in one battery-lead inquiry.
