This two-port RJ45 power-adapter request combines PoE-injector and plug-in switching-adapter requirements. Actual output choices are 12 V/2 A, 24 V/1 A and 48 V/0.5 A, with overload and short-circuit protection included in the functional brief for the selected Ethernet or Wi-Fi equipment connection.
Choose the adapter role and power version
Identify how the adapter will supply the connected device and agree the actual injector or switching-adapter arrangement. Match one complete output voltage/current combination with the receiving equipment, including the required port direction and wiring.
Additional 5, 9 or 36 V and other current requests need their own agreed configuration. Keep those requirements separate from the three actual output choices so the supplied power version remains clear.
Arrange the input and mounting
The supply requirement is 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz, with US, EU, AU or UK input arrangements to be selected. Agree panel or plug-in fit, two-port access and the scope of the ABS/PVC construction, brass contacts and nickel-plated finish.
Specify the cable as part of the assembly
Define where 2464 or 2468 cable and 18–20 AWG wiring apply within the chosen arrangement. Select 1 m, 1.8 m or a custom reach and black or white finish, retaining the actual conductor and pin assignment for its function.
Connect protection with the intended device
Retain overload and short-circuit protection in the selected adapter specification. Confirm the complete power path, device demand and network-link requirements with the chosen ports, input and cable so the supplied assembly has a defined operating role.
