An open-end power pigtail should be specified as part of the appliance assembly that will receive it. This black US AC lead has a PVC jacket and an open equipment end, with custom-length requests available for the intended installation.
Define the receiving termination
State how the open end needs to be prepared for the receiving assembly. The termination requirement should be agreed before the lead is selected, because the cord becomes one part of the completed electrical arrangement.
Include the required conductor count and end preparation in the specification. Those details help identify the intended version when several cable constructions or supply-plug arrangements are possible.
Confirm the supply-side configuration
Specify the actual US supply-plug form required at the outlet. Keep that plug detail with the receiving termination so both ends of the power path are defined together.
The lead has a 10A designation. Confirm the operating voltage and complete assembly rating for the selected plug, wire construction and termination before matching the cord to the appliance demand.
Set the cable construction and reach
Provide the required cable length and conductor material for the ordered version. Measure along the intended route, including the connector or termination positions within the assembly.
Confirm the wire family, gauge and number of conductors as part of the same build. A similar jacket color or general power-cord description should not replace an agreement on the actual electrical construction.
Prepare a specific assembly inquiry
OEM and ODM requests are available, along with requests for two or three sample pieces. Supply the plug form, conductor requirement, reach and prepared-end detail in one request.
This gives the inquiry a clear starting point. The final pigtail can then be matched to the appliance assembly and its complete electrical requirements.
