TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
VLV22 combines aluminium conductors and PVC insulation in a four-core 50mm2 tape-armoured power cable rated 0.6/1kV. The exact tape-armour metal requires confirmation. Establish the approved layer arrangement before selecting a specific armoured build, then complete the conductor allocation, compatible ends and physical quantities needed for the circuit and installation.
Confirm the tape-armour material on a layer drawing
Use an approved construction drawing to identify the tape-armour metal separately from the aluminium conductor material. Include the insulation and full layer arrangement on that drawing. Settle the selected armoured construction before cable preparation and compatible termination details are finalized for the intended route and equipment connections.
Retain the known conductor and insulation requirements
Keep aluminium as the conductor material and PVC as the insulation requirement in the specification. Agree the final outer sheath with the confirmed armour arrangement. Obtain preparation information for the selected full build and use the finished material description when comparing cable alternatives with the project requirements.
Define every conductor's electrical role
Show the required section, duty and connection point for each conductor on the circuit drawing. Keep the individual allocation beside the four-core 50mm2 selection. Choose compatible aluminium cable ends after the complete construction is confirmed, checking the space and access available for preparation at both equipment connections.
Complete installation, acceptance and physical cuts
Review installation information for the confirmed cable build and intended route. State any precise acceptance criterion and request corresponding selected-build documents. Give physical cut lengths and quantities separately from conductor area, including agreed allowances, the final sheath, approved core allocation and compatible ends with the completed purchase schedule.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
