TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
YJV provides a four-core copper electric power cable with XLPE insulation and non-armoured construction at a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV. The 50mm2 technical selection gives a starting point for the circuit specification. Develop the complete cable arrangement around the required conductor duties, final outer build and equipment connections.
Copper and XLPE in the selected build
The conductor material is copper, while XLPE describes the insulation. Carry both material requirements into the full construction drawing. Add the agreed outer sheath to complete that drawing, so the finished cable can be reviewed against the intended installation rather than selected solely by its model designation.
Four cores, with the allocation defined
Specify the section and electrical duty needed for each of the four conductors. Keep this allocation with the circuit design and the 50mm2 selection when discussing connections at either end. The required arrangement should be clear before cable preparation and termination details are settled.
Plan the non-armoured installation
Use the non-armoured construction requirement when comparing the proposed cable with alternatives for the route. Obtain preparation and installation information applicable to the chosen complete build. Check the available connection space and equipment access alongside the selected sheath and compatible cable ends.
Separate physical quantities from conductor area
Give the physical cut length in a length unit, with the required quantities and end allowances shown in the purchase schedule. The 50mm2 notation describes the technical selection and should remain separate from that schedule. Include the approved four-core allocation, final sheath and any exact project acceptance criterion with the order.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
