The orange circular SWA-armoured cable uses plain-annealed copper conductors, XLPE insulation and a PVC sheath, with a 0.6/1kV rating. Its family includes two-, three- or four-core plus earth configurations for wiring and power distribution. Complete the actual numeric arrangement and individual conductor sections through the circuit design before finalizing the cable ends.

Define the core-plus-earth configuration

Specify the required two-, three- or four-core arrangement with earth, giving every conductor a section, electrical duty and equipment connection. State the earth-conductor section explicitly. Review the terminations against that completed allocation so the final cable schedule describes a definite electrical configuration rather than a general multicore selection.

Retain the full SWA layer drawing

Keep copper conductor material, XLPE insulation, PVC sheath and steel-wire armour in the construction reference. Compare alternatives using the complete selected build. Review preparation and compatible armoured cable ends, obtaining installation details applicable to the actual construction and considering equipment access and available connection space.

Review conditions and project documents

The normal operating temperature is 90°C, with UV, oil, chemical and flame resistance specified. Identify any exact environmental or measured criterion required for the installation and review matching construction evidence. Where SAA or AS/NZS 5000.1 scope is required, obtain documentation that identifies the selected cable build and applicable project requirement.

Separate physical length from section

A 1M(3.28ft) physical-length option is available. Give the required cut length independently of conductor and earth sections, including the approved allocation, full material drawing and agreed cable ends with the purchase quantities. Retain the circuit reference, installation conditions and required project documents beside the final schedule.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
