TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
The 3+2 BTLY construction power cable uses copper conductors, mineral insulation and an aluminum sheath. It is a flexible, fire-resistant build with a 0.6/1kV rating. Select the complete construction through the project's electrical allocation and the cable-end requirements of the proposed installation.
Coordinate the construction route around the specified sheath
Use the aluminum-sheathed build as the reference for reviewing cable preparation and terminations. Retain copper conductor material and mineral insulation beside the sheath requirement on the drawing. Review access along the intended route and at the equipment, using the bending and handling details applicable to that flexible cable. This keeps the material selection connected to the installation rather than to the model name alone.
Which requirements complete the 3+2 construction circuit?
Specify the duty and section required for every conductor from the electrical design. Show the corresponding equipment connection and proposed termination arrangement. Any neutral or protective-conductor assignment and any section relationship need to be stated by that design. The plus notation identifies the arrangement but does not replace the individual conductor schedule used to describe the project cable.
Write one construction specification for performance and quantities
State any required IEC method or particular fire-test acceptance criterion precisely, and review the selected construction evidence for the intended installation conditions. Confirm individual conductor requirements for the 3+2 selection and give physical cut length independently. Include the aluminum sheath, approved allocation and cable-end details in the order description. Retain the circuit and material drawings with the project's required performance scope so the configuration, installation and physical quantities can be checked against the same construction reference.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
