BTLY 3+2-core cable combines a flexible copper mineral-insulated build with an aluminum sheath for power distribution. Rated 0.6/1kV, it includes fire resistance as a stated construction characteristic. The conductor arrangement and separate sheath material are central to a precise comparison with the distribution schedule.

Read copper and aluminum as different layers

Copper identifies the conductors, while aluminum identifies the sheath around the specified cable construction. Mineral insulation is a separate requirement. Keep these material roles explicit in the order drawing so a comparison with another distribution cable does not blur conductor and sheath specifications.

Define the 3+2 distribution arrangement

Assign the role and required section of each conductor from the circuit design. The 3+2 notation should be retained without assuming neutral or protective-conductor functions or a reduced-core ratio. Include the individual allocation with the equipment connections so the selected configuration and cable-end requirements can be checked together.

Coordinate route, sheath preparation and terminations

Confirm permitted bending and handling details for the selected flexible build. Review the proposed route with the space available at each connection and the preparation required by the actual sheath construction. This brings the cable installation and termination arrangement into the same design review.

Complete the distribution order

The current option reads 50mm2 with 3+2 cores. Specify the individual conductor sections and physical cable length separately, then add the approved drawing and cable-end details. Identify any exact IEC or fire-test criterion required by the project and check it against the selected aluminum-sheathed construction. Keep these details together for the final distribution cable review.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
