The three-core BTLY cable is a flexible, fire-resistant construction for fire-protection systems. Copper conductors, mineral insulation, a copper sheath and a 0.6/1kV rating are specified. Complete the selected build through the individual conductor duties and connection requirements shown by the fire-protection circuit.

A specific copper-sheath requirement

Identify conductor copper separately from sheath copper on the approved layer drawing. Retain mineral insulation as another construction requirement. Use the complete description when comparing cables and reviewing sheath preparation and compatible terminations for the actual BTLY build.

Three electrical duties to define

Give each conductor a required section, electrical function and equipment connection from the project design. Keep the three-core identity with those individual requirements. The allocation should provide the termination reviewer a definite circuit configuration and identify the cable-end details needed for the order.

Flexible routing at the connections

Use bending and handling information applicable to the chosen construction. Consider the intended route together with access around equipment and the room needed to prepare and connect both ends. Retain the same material drawing with the proposed terminations in the installation review.

Exact fire and IEC criteria

If the project requires a particular method, survival period or classified criterion, state its acceptance conditions precisely. Review selected-build evidence for that requirement and the relevant installation. Ordinary fire resistance remains a product function while any exact qualification has its own identified scope.

Physical length and final cable ends

Confirm individual conductor sections for the three-core selection and give cable cut length independently. Include the copper-sheathed build, approved allocation and agreed end requirements with the final fire-protection schedule and construction reference.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
