TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
The five-core BTLY power cable combines copper conductors and mineral insulation with an aluminum sheath. Its stated construction is flexible and fireproof, with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV. Select the individual conductor arrangement and connection details to suit the intended power circuit, keeping the complete cable build with the project schedule.
Five cores with defined connections
Record each conductor's electrical duty, required section and equipment connection on the circuit drawing. Preserve that individual allocation alongside the five-core identity when reviewing cable ends. The completed drawing should allow the termination requirements to be checked against a definite electrical configuration. Confirm the individual sections associated with the 50mm2 selection rather than assigning one section to every conductor automatically.
Copper within an aluminum sheath
Conductor copper and sheath aluminum have different places in this construction. Keep both materials, together with mineral insulation, visible in the approved layer drawing. Compare alternatives using that full material reference, then review preparation and compatible terminations for the selected build. Obtain handling and bending information applicable to the flexible construction and consider the access needed to prepare its cable ends.
Keep the fire criterion precise
Use the project specification to identify any required fire-test method, acceptance condition or particular IEC criterion. Match the supporting evidence to the chosen cable and relevant installation scope. The purchase schedule should retain the ordinary fireproof construction description while naming any separately required measured qualification. Give physical cable cut length independently of conductor-section details, and include the approved five-core allocation, complete aluminum-sheathed construction and agreed cable ends so the final order can be checked against the same circuit and material references.
