BVR/BV flexible single-core wire is presented for residential and commercial house or building connections. The described round PVC-insulated and PVC-jacketed wire specifies 99.9% pure copper at 450/750V. Size enquiries include 2.5mm, 4mm, 6mm and 10mm.
Specify the copper conductor for the house connection
Choose the exact BVR/BV designation and solid or stranded construction. Give the conductor cross-section with explicit units, individual-wire dimensions where relevant, and finished insulation dimensions. Include terminal fit and lead lengths so the selected flexible-wire enquiry concerns the actual connection required by the building circuit.
What complete working range is required by the project?
For a 90°C operating-temperature requirement, agree the full working range and the matching wire construction. Provide the actual load, route and exposure conditions needed by the residential or commercial installation. Keep the conductor, PVC system and finished dimensions with that operating brief when considering the proposed wire.
Request the applicable IEC60227, SAA, RoHS, CCC, CE or ISO9001 scope for the selected BVR/BV component. The requested evidence should relate to the same construction and circuit conditions being reviewed.
Complete the colour, sample and supply schedule
Choose black, white, green, red, blue, yellow or a requested colour for the defined BV/BVR lead. Keep that colour identification with the same size and conductor arrangement used for the connection drawing. Free samples and a 1m offering are available; the minimum order is 100 metres or the requested quantity. State the chosen colour and size basis with the finished lengths and quantity, retaining the selected conductor arrangement and complete thermal requirement in the house-wire enquiry.
