An open-end supply cord needs to suit the receiving electrical assembly as well as the outlet. This black US NEMA 5-15P pigtail uses an 18AWG three-wire SVT/PVC construction with a stripped equipment end and a 10A designation.
Define the prepared equipment end
State the required end preparation for the receiving assembly. The stripped termination should be agreed with the conductor arrangement so the lead can be matched to the connection that will receive it.
