TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
A 4+1 arrangement distinguishes this NG-A cable for emergency power systems. Copper is the conductor material and mineral is the insulation material in a flexible, fire-resistant construction rated 0.6/1kV. Complete the selection through the emergency connection drawing, the final sheath specification and the installation requirements.
Define the 4+1 duties without assigning them from the notation
The circuit designer should identify the section and function of every conductor. The plus notation does not establish a neutral, protective conductor or reduced-section ratio. Show the equipment connections with that allocation so the cable-end review has a definite electrical reference.
Record the material build that will actually be supplied
Retain copper conductors and mineral insulation in the construction description. Specify the sheath agreed for the order and carry it into the approved drawing. That complete layer description is the basis for comparing alternatives and selecting end preparation.
Review the flexible cable at its connection points
Use the bending and handling instructions applicable to the selected construction. Coordinate the proposed route with access to the equipment and the space required at the cable ends. Compatible terminations should be assessed for the same build shown on the drawing.
Identify the emergency test requirement in full
Where a numbered IEC method or specified fire survival criterion applies, state the exact acceptance conditions. Check the selected construction and evidence against the requirement. Include any relevant installation conditions in that assessment rather than assuming an approval from the cable name.
Confirm sections before ordering the cut-length quantity
For the 50mm2 selection, complete the section and duty of each 4+1 conductor from the electrical design. Give physical cable length as a separate quantity. Retain the selected sheath, terminations and approved allocation with the final emergency schedule.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
