For project power cable requirements, VLV combines aluminium conductors and PVC insulation in a non-armoured four-core build rated 0.6/1kV. The technical selection is 50mm2. Define the individual conductor arrangement and full outer construction with the circuit and equipment requirements before completing compatible cable ends and physical quantities for the project route.

Start with the individual conductor duties

Give every conductor a required section, electrical function and equipment connection in the circuit design. Keep this allocation with the four-core 50mm2 selection during the cable review. Agree the conductor arrangement before final cable-end preparation and physical quantity details are settled.

Complete the non-armoured material drawing

Retain aluminium conductor material, PVC insulation and non-armoured construction on the full drawing. Add the agreed final outer sheath to describe the complete selected cable. Obtain preparation information for that build, keeping the material reference available when the compatible ends are assessed.

Match the equipment connections

Choose ends compatible with the aluminium conductors and complete construction. Check the space and access needed to prepare and connect both cable ends. Keep those details beside the circuit drawing when the equipment requirements and physical end allowances are agreed.

Review the project route and acceptance request

Obtain installation information applicable to the selected construction and intended project route. State any precise acceptance criterion and request corresponding chosen-build documents where required. Retain the full material description with the approved conductor allocation during the final technical review.

Specify the required physical cuts

Record cut lengths and quantities in a length unit, independently of conductor area. Include agreed allowances, the finalized sheath and compatible aluminium ends. Use the approved circuit, complete build and applicable installation details to finish the project cable purchase schedule.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
