VLV32 brings aluminium conductors, PVC insulation and steel-wire armour together in a four-core 50mm2 power cable rated 0.6/1kV. Use this SWA configuration as the starting point for a complete cable specification. The individual circuit duties, outer construction and compatible aluminium connections should accompany the required physical quantities when the selected build is reviewed.

Build the specification around the aluminium connections

Identify the equipment connection assigned to each conductor and give its required section on the circuit drawing. Check the connection requirements against the aluminium conductor material before choosing cable ends. Retain the complete four-core allocation beside the full cable construction, with enough equipment access and preparation space to complete the proposed connections. Agree the final end arrangement with the material and circuit references.

Carry PVC insulation and SWA into the complete material drawing

Keep the insulation and armour descriptions distinct when the selected cable is specified. PVC describes the conductor insulation here; the finished outer sheath should also be agreed on the full layer drawing. Obtain preparation and installation information for that complete construction. Review it against the intended route before end allowances and the physical cable request are settled.

Give the IEC requirement a precise scope

Where IEC acceptance forms part of the project, identify the exact standard number, applicable part and required supporting information. Compare documents for the chosen build with that precise request. State the number of cuts and their physical lengths independently of the 50mm2 area notation. Finish the schedule with the approved conductor allocation, outer sheath and compatible aluminium ends so that the material and quantity requirements describe the same cable.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
