VV uses copper conductors and PVC insulation in a non-armoured electric power cable rated 0.6/1kV. The technical selection is four cores and 50mm2. Develop the circuit allocation and full construction drawing together when comparing the cable with the intended equipment connections, installation route and physical quantities needed by the project.

Complete the non-armoured material reference

Keep copper conductor material, PVC insulation and non-armoured construction together on the full drawing. Agree the final outer sheath as part of the selected finished build. Obtain preparation information corresponding to that construction and retain the complete material description when the required cable ends and installation details are reviewed.

Assign the four conductor duties

Identify the required section, electrical function and equipment connection for every conductor on the circuit design. Keep the individual allocation beside the four-core 50mm2 selection. Choose compatible cable ends using the approved conductor arrangement and full construction before final end preparation and physical quantities are agreed for the installation.

Review the intended route and equipment access

Obtain installation information applicable to the chosen cable construction and proposed route. Check the space and access available to prepare and connect both ends. Keep the material and circuit drawings together when agreeing end allowances and any exact acceptance documents requested for the selected power cable.

Give physical cut lengths separately

Record cut lengths and the number of cuts in a length unit, including agreed allowances for the connections. Keep the 50mm2 conductor-area notation independent of those measurements. Finalize the purchase schedule using the outer sheath, approved conductor allocation, compatible ends and applicable installation information for the required non-armoured cable build.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
