TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
VV22 is a four-core copper power cable with PVC insulation and steel-tape armour, rated 0.6/1kV for underground projects. Its technical section selection is 25mm2. Develop the cable specification together with the underground route, retaining the stated conductor, insulation and armour arrangement while the complete installation details are agreed.
Review the underground route with the complete build
Identify the intended route and obtain installation information appropriate to the selected cable construction. Carry the copper conductors, PVC insulation and steel-tape armour into the final material description. Agree the outer sheath as part of that description before completing the route-specific cable requirements. The underground project drawing and complete construction reference should be available together when the installation arrangement is assessed.
Define conductors and connections for the project
Show the required section, electrical function and connection for each conductor in the four-core arrangement. Retain that allocation with the 25mm2 selection and the chosen cable ends. Review the access and space available for preparation at both equipment connections. Use the finalized construction and conductor drawing when deciding compatible terminations and the end allowances needed by the route.
Complete acceptance and physical quantities
Specify the exact IEC standard number and part wherever the underground project has an IEC acceptance requirement, checking documents applicable to the selected build. Give physical cable lengths in a separate cut schedule with the number of cuts and agreed allowances. Keep the final sheath, individual conductor allocation, route information and required cable ends with those quantities so the purchase describes a complete cable and installation request.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
