TypeMulti-Core Power Cable
For construction power cable requirements, this YJV option combines copper conductors and XLPE insulation in a non-armoured four-core build rated 0.6/1kV. Its technical selection is 50mm2. Review this configuration with the construction circuit design, then complete the remaining material and cable-end details for the installation.
Relate the four-core build to the construction circuit
Identify the electrical duty and required section of every conductor on the project drawing. Keep the four-core allocation beside the equipment connection requirements. A complete allocation helps the buyer evaluate the selected cable before end preparation is agreed and the physical quantities are scheduled.
Specify insulation and the remaining outer layers
Retain the copper conductor and XLPE insulation requirements when developing the final construction description. Agree the outer sheath as part of that description. Use the complete non-armoured build when obtaining installation and preparation information for the intended construction route and its equipment connections.
Check the practical connection details
Select cable ends compatible with the chosen conductor arrangement and finished cable construction. Review equipment access and the space available to prepare both ends. Keep these connection details together with the final sheath and circuit drawing so the required cable is defined consistently throughout the project documents.
Give lengths and acceptance requirements explicitly
State the physical cut length and number of required cuts in the purchase schedule, separately from the 50mm2 section notation. Include any end allowances agreed for the installation. Where the construction project specifies a particular acceptance criterion, name it precisely and check supporting documentation for the selected build alongside the finalized cable schedule.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
