The copper YJV underground power-cable family is rated 0.6/1kV for distribution, transmission and supply installations. UV, abrasion and corrosion resistance are specified features. Complete the selected cable designation and compatible core-size code together, defining the actual insulation, jacket, armour and individual conductor requirements on the approved construction drawing.
Confirm PVC and XLPE assignments
Identify the insulation and jacket materials separately for the chosen cable. Agree the PVC/XLPE layer roles on the full construction drawing before comparing alternatives or finalizing end preparation. Keep conductor material and actual armour requirements with the same selected reference so the equipment connections are assessed against one definite build.
Choose the matching configuration
Use a designation and core-size description that belong to the same cable construction. Confirm the required core count and nominal section units, giving every conductor an electrical duty and equipment connection. Review proposed terminations with the individual allocation rather than applying one generic family arrangement to all differently coded selections.
Complete temperature and order scope
Confirm the applicable 70°C or 90°C working-temperature condition for the selected construction and installation. Identify any exact project exposure or approval requirement and review matching documentation for that cable. A 1m(3.28ft) physical-length option is available; give the required cut length separately from conductor-size notation. Obtain installation information applicable to the chosen build and consider equipment access and the space needed to prepare its ends. Include the approved conductor allocation, full PVC/XLPE layer drawing, actual armour and agreed terminations with the purchase quantities, retaining the selected circuit and construction references beside the final order.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
