For underground power cable requirements, YJV22 combines copper conductors, XLPE insulation and steel-tape armour at 0.6/1kV in the four-core 50mm2 configuration. Review the complete cable build with the intended underground route. Finalize the conductor allocation, outer sheath, compatible ends and physical quantities using the circuit and material drawings.

Develop the underground route with the selected construction

Describe the intended route and obtain installation information applicable to the complete chosen cable. Retain the copper, XLPE and steel-tape requirements on the material drawing. Agree the final outer sheath and keep the construction reference available when route-specific installation and cable-end details are reviewed against the project requirements.

Allocate the four copper conductors

State each conductor's required section, electrical duty and equipment connection on the circuit design. Keep the individual allocation beside the four-core 50mm2 configuration during the cable review. Select ends compatible with the approved arrangement and finished construction before the required preparation details and physical quantities are agreed for the underground installation.

Check access at the equipment connections

Review the space and access available to prepare and connect both cable ends. Retain the material and conductor drawings when compatible termination details and physical end allowances are discussed. State any precise project acceptance criterion and obtain matching selected-build documents where needed for the chosen underground cable and installation.

Finalize the underground cable quantities

Give physical cut lengths and the number of cuts in a length unit, separately from conductor-area notation. Include agreed allowances for preparation and connections. Complete the schedule with the final sheath, approved core allocation, compatible cable ends and applicable installation information, retaining the route reference with the full power cable purchase request.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
