Choose the gauge, conductor finish and actual shield version
Identify the shielded or unshielded construction needed by the connection, then match its actual gauge, core count and conductor finish. Aluminium foil and tinned copper are specified for the shielded cable version. Keep the required 26AWG specification with its selected drawing, including conductor/PVC dimensions, shield termination and terminal fit.
Which interface conditions apply to the selected signal cable?
Provide actual communication-audio, broadcast-sound or automotive/electronic interface requirements and circuit load. Add the route, exposure and full required working-temperature range for that connection. Keep finished connection lengths and equipment terminal geometry with the selected gauge, conductor finish and shielding schedule.
