The 4+1 BTLY cable is specified for emergency power and has a flexible, fire-resistant mineral-insulated copper construction. Its voltage rating is 0.6/1kV. Complete the emergency configuration with the individual conductor requirements, final sheath and cable-end details selected for the installation.

Develop the emergency 4+1 allocation

Identify the section, electrical function and equipment connection required for each conductor. Establish any neutral or protective duty and section relationship through the emergency circuit design. Retain those individual requirements beside the plus arrangement so the termination reviewer has one definite electrical configuration.

Select the full material build

Keep copper conductor material and mineral insulation explicit, adding the sheath agreed for the actual order. Use the complete layer drawing to assess cable alternatives and preparation requirements. Review compatible terminations for that selected construction, retaining the material reference with the cable-end design.

Review the flexible emergency route

Obtain bending and handling information applicable to the chosen cable build. Consider the intended route with equipment access and room for preparing both connections. Where an IEC method or exact fire criterion is required, identify its acceptance conditions and review matching construction evidence for the intended installation.

Retain the final order quantities

Confirm individual conductor sections for the 4+1 selection and state physical cable cut length independently. Include the final sheath, approved allocation and agreed cable ends with the purchase description. Keep the construction drawing and exact emergency criterion in the schedule used to identify the required configuration, installation conditions and physical quantities of the selected cable.

Provide the product reference, selected configuration, quantity and destination. Confirm drawings, applicable ratings and acceptance requirements for the requested build. Lead time, shipping arrangements, charges and any return conditions should be reviewed in the agreed quotation before ordering.
