A UK computer power lead needs a suitable equipment connector as well as the required fused supply plug. This three-pin UK-to-IEC C13 cord uses H05VV-F cable and PVC material, with black or white color choices and a 250V, 10A designation.
Select the complete cord configuration around the equipment requirement. The fuse value, conductor build and cable reach should be agreed together rather than chosen independently.
Define the fused-plug configuration
The UK supply plug incorporates an internal fuse arrangement. Fuse references include 3A, 5A and 13A, so specify the value required for the actual cable assembly and connected equipment.
A fuse reference does not by itself establish the complete cord rating. Confirm the selected conductor composition, cable construction and electrical requirement as part of the same order detail.
Choose reach and color together
Length requests include 0.5m, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 1.83m and 2m. A 3m OEM request can also be discussed when the installation needs that reach.
Measure the route from the UK supply point to the equipment inlet, then select black or white for the required arrangement. Keep the exact length with the final connector and fuse specification so the chosen version suits the installation.
Match the C13 equipment connection
The C13 end must mate with the receiving device inlet. Check the actual computer or other equipment being connected instead of treating a general equipment category as proof of connector compatibility.
Provide the equipment demand and inlet detail with the required UK plug, length and fuse. Those facts allow the H05VV-F lead to be specified as one complete connection, including its confirmed voltage and current rating.
